KcVPN Help Center
Find solutions by account, connection, routes, and billing. Each guide defines what to check first, then explains whether the next step belongs in the client, user panel, or ticket page.
Identify the issue first, then change the configuration
When a connection fails, avoid changing the client, subscription, and system settings all at once. Check the local network first, then update the subscription and switch routes. Adjust routing mode or re-import only when the evidence points to a client configuration issue. This preserves a clear troubleshooting path and helps support identify the cause from the symptoms.
Account & Subscriptions
Resolve questions about registration details, subscription syncing, device changes, and client downloads. A subscription is delivered through the account, so always obtain it from the user panel rather than a public page or a link forwarded by someone else.
What information is required to activate KcVPN?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Use the username to sign in to the user panel and keep the password secure. After registration, you can view plans, get client apps, and manage subscriptions from the panel without completing activation by email.
How do I sync a subscription after its link has been updated?
First sign in to the user panel and open Get Client or Account Overview to confirm that you are using the active subscription shown there. Return to the client and update or refresh the existing subscription. If old routes still appear, delete the old subscription and import it again. Do not edit the subscription link manually, as this may invalidate the import address.
Do I need to buy a new plan when I switch devices?
You do not need to buy another plan when changing devices. KcVPN has no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time, and the same active subscription can be imported on supported devices as needed. Get the client and current subscription for the new device from the user panel. If the old device is no longer in use, remove its subscription configuration from the relevant client.
Which operating systems does KcVPN support?
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported. Client apps and subscription access are provided through the user panel; sign in and open Get Client to view them. System permissions and import screens vary by platform. After installation, follow the client prompts to allow network configuration changes.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot connection issues step by step: local network, subscription status, client permissions, and route status. Change only one condition at a time so you can identify which action restored the connection.
Why can’t the client suddenly establish a connection?
First confirm that the device itself can access the internet normally, then return to the client to update the subscription and switch routes. If you have just changed networks, disconnect the current session and reconnect. If several routes fail, restart the client and check that the system still allows it to use network configuration. If the issue remains, submit a ticket through the user panel and include the platform, client, and selected route.
Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?
A common cause is rule-based routing: the app’s connection does not match any existing rule. Switch to global mode for comparison. If the app works globally, the issue is in the routing rules. Restore the original mode and check whether the app’s domain or process has been set to direct connection. If system-level network permission is disabled, a browser may work while an individual app does not.
What should I do if the connection fails after switching Wi-Fi or another network?
Switching networks can interrupt the existing connection path. Return to the client, disconnect, confirm that the new network can open web pages normally, and then select a route and reconnect. If the client remains stuck on connecting, fully quit and reopen it. Devices that switch networks frequently should keep automatic reconnection enabled, while still checking client permissions when the system restricts background activity.
What should I check if importing a subscription link fails?
Confirm that the subscription comes from the KcVPN user panel you are currently signed in to, and copy it in full without extra spaces or line breaks. Check that the client supports subscription imports rather than only manual single-route setup. If the link was edited, copy it again from the panel. If it still fails, try another supported client for the platform and include the error message in a ticket, but never share the full subscription link publicly.
Speed & Routes
Route selection is not based on a single speed test. Access-point location, exit region, target service, and local network all affect results, so compare routes according to their intended use.
How should I handle slowdowns during peak evening hours?
Evening performance can be affected by the local network, access-point congestion, route paths, and the target service’s load. Update the subscription first, then compare a geographically closer access point. If the current route remains slow, switch to another route in the same region. Pause syncing, downloads, and system updates during tests so local traffic does not distort the result. If only one target service is slow, also test another exit region.
Should I choose a route by region or by purpose?
Start by choosing an access point near the device, then select an exit region based on the target service. For work, web browsing, and messaging, prioritize connection stability. Streaming and regional content also require a matching service region. Do not judge speed by the route name alone: the same route can perform differently on different local networks. Base the final choice on the current device and network.
Why do speed-test results differ from real-world performance?
A speed test usually measures short-term transfer performance between the test node and the current exit. Real applications also follow the target service’s own network path. Web loading, video buffering, file transfers, and real-time communications have different latency, jitter, and sustained-throughput requirements, so one test cannot represent the entire experience. Compare routes using the services you actually need on the same network.
How do I switch routes when streaming or AI tools are unstable?
First confirm which exit region the target service requires, then update the subscription and choose another route in that region. Disconnect the old connection before reconnecting so the app does not keep reusing the previous network session. If the browser works but an app does not, close and reopen the app. If only a specific service is affected, try another exit region or route type instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client.
Where does KcVPN offer route coverage?
KcVPN provides cross-border network access across 120+ countries and 220+ routes. Routes are organized by region and purpose, and the full range is listed on the Routes page. These figures describe the available selection; they do not mean every local network will perform identically to every region. Choose routes based on your location and target service.

Monthly plans and data packs handle data differently. Before placing an order, confirm the usage period, data needs, and payment method. For upgrades or refunds, keep the complete order trail in the user panel.
Which monthly plans are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose a tier based on typical usage; having more devices does not require a larger plan because KcVPN does not limit the number of devices online at the same time.
What data packs are available, and do they expire?
Data packs include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for usage that varies from month to month. Data packs and monthly plans reset differently, so decide whether you need a monthly allocation or want to keep unused data before choosing.
When does monthly plan data reset?
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date rather than on the first day of the calendar month. Check the subscription period shown in the user panel when reviewing remaining data. Data packs do not reset monthly; they last until used and never expire. Keep these two usage models separate when reviewing data changes.
How does a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade work?
For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, review the current plan and available tiers in the user panel, then decide based on remaining data and usage needs. To avoid misunderstanding the billing period, rely on the settlement result shown in the panel before submitting the upgrade.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. The payment flow is available through Plans and Orders in the user panel. After choosing a plan, complete payment using the method shown and keep the order record. If the payment status does not update, do not create multiple identical orders; submit a ticket through the user panel for verification.
How do I request a refund?
KcVPN offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page, and provide the relevant order and refund request so the payment record can be checked. The Refund Policy page governs the applicable rules. Do not delete related order information before submitting the request.
